Business
& Administration is a varied and important area of work. The opportunities
to develop your career are endless. Most people need some Business
& Administration skills to carry out a part of their job. As technology
improves the job roles in Business & Administration will change
so it is important that people in business support roles continue
to update their skills.
The
Business & Administration SVQs are designed for people in the
workplace and consist of a number of units, each covering a specific
area of work.
- To
obtain your Level 2 you have to complete 5 units and for your Level
3 you have to complete 6 units. In both these cases 2 of the units
are compulsory as they cover skills required by all administrators,
however the optional units should represent the ones that most closely
link to your job role.
- Candidates
will be guided through the SVQ by a tutor and also the workplace
supervisor.
- A
portfolio of evidence will be compiled by the candidate. This is
normally an A4 file that contains documentary evidence relating
to your work.
