Cothrom Òg is an all day childcare facility based at Ormiclate in South Uist.

We are able to provide quality childcare through the medium of Gàidhlig for children aged between 3 months and 12 years.

The staff at Cothrom Òg are highly trained, professional and committed to provide the best possible educational experiences for the children in their care.

Fees

The fees are charged at £3.20 per hour, but if you have more than one child attending the service, they will be charged at a reduced rate of £3.00 per hour.

There is a weekly charge of £2 per child to cover the cost of snack and baking ingredients.

If your child is off sick or on holiday you will be charged at half your normal rate, this enables the Nursery to keep your child's place for you.

At least 48 hours notice is required for holidays. Bills will be issued every 2 weeks, and must be paid immediately.

Opening Hours

Cothrom Òg is open from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, closing only for 2 weeks in July and 2 weeks over the Christmas period.

Help with Childcare Costs

Please be aware that you may be entitled to assistance with your Nursery fees by claiming Childcare Tax Credits. Please get in touch with the Inland Revenue to see if you qualify.

Why not give Cothrom Òg a ring and let them help you out. Children aged between 3 months and 12 years can be catered for between the hours of 8am and 6pm .

After School/Homework Clubs

 

This is a great service if you need to get to work before the school bus arrives, or need to stay on for that meeting that you just cannot miss!

 

The children will be entertained with a range of practical and challenging activities such as baking, clay modelling, glass painting and much more.

 

If you are interested in using these clubs during term time or school holidays please do not hesitate to get in touch. You are most welcome to view the nursery facilities anytime you wish but prior booking is essential for the clubs and Cothrom Òg charges apply.
