Local research has revealed a positive requirement for management training and development at a range of levels. In order to meet this need, Cothrom has launched SVQs in Team Leading at Level 2, and Management at

Level 3.

These work-based programmes are aimed at assessing the skills and knowledge that candidates currently possess, and furthermore need, to perform their roles effectively. Candidates provide evidence relating to the standards for the specific unit being undertaken. Acceptable evidence can include assessor observation in the workplace, reports / plans produced by the candidate or personal statements focussing on ‘real’ work.
