The SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare is the qualification which
sets out performance and knowledge standards for people who wish
to work in care. The SVQ is designed to be used in the workplace.
2 Social Services and Healthcare
The course requires candidates to be working in a supported role,
they should not be working unsupervised.
Level 3 Social Services and Healthcare
The course requires candidates to be working with minimal supervision
and having a high degree of independence for the planning and
promotion of the care service.
