I was brought up in Benbecula and trained as a nurse soon after leaving school.  I have lived in Grogarry for 31 years now.

I recently took early retirement from the Social Work Department having worked there for almost 25 years.  I was a Homecare Organiser for 12 years and then 13 years as a Service Manager responsible for Residential and Day Services, and following the Community Care Act, also Training Co-ordinator.  I was also an Internal Verifier for SVQ Care Awards.
