This week we've been learning more about numbers, but we've also had lots of independent and guided play!

The Daliburgh Thrift Shop very kindly donated a play kitchen for the children in the baby room. The children have enjoyed role playing making tea and lunch, and even doing the dishes!
We've been experimenting making our own colours using foam. We started mixing with paint brushes so we could improve our fine motor skills, but eventually mixing with our hands was more fun!
Today at ReStore we made icicles out of aluminium foil, paint, and glitter, as part of our winter topic.
Continuing with our winter topic, we made snowmen out of paint, stamps, and brushes. Holding a paint brush isn't always very easy, but painting is so fun we don't even notice!
Today we made our own ice coloured playdough to play with. We made hailstones, icicles, and snowballs.
Gripping a pair of scissors isn't very easy, but we had fun cutting out the shape of a body to use in our learning about winter clothes for our winter topic.
