The children in the baby room have been busy making some spooky Halloween decorations.
They also enjoyed sensory play by exploring lots of different textures, such as spaghetti worms, beasties in jelly, and the inside of a pumpkin.

Our Halloween Party was a great success. All the children dressed up in some very scary costumes and took part in lots of fun games planned by staff – searching for eyeballs was a particular favourite! The children also made some delicious pumpkin soup which went down a treat.

For Michaelmas, the children were given the opportunity to make Strùan with Fiona. Although this is a complex process, everyone worked well together to create a very tasty bannock, which was a big hit with the children. We started off the term by learning a little about Autumn. The children were excited to investigate the changes that take place over the season even the rain didn’t stop them! The children took part in various arts and craft sessions between the nursey and ReStore, with Maria.
