​We are proud to announce that Cothrom ReStore has recently been awarded the Committed to Excellence Award through EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management).
 
EFQM Committed to Excellence is an assessment and recognition scheme that helps organisations introduce an excellence initiative and deliver improved results. With this award we have demonstrated improved levels of organisational procedures, visual merchandising, and customer service.
 
We are always aiming to improve our services in any way we can and, with gaining this award, we are delighted to be able to show our customers and service users that we are committed to continual progression and development.

On the Skills Development Scotland website you can read about two pupils from Sgoil Lionacleit who are undertaking Foundation Apprenticeships in Social Care and Young People. This qualification is delivered by one of our experienced tutors, who teaches on site in the school once a week. 

Foundation Apprenticeships are a great way for young people to explore a desired career path, while getting work experience, a qualification, and skills useful in pursuing higher education.

Pass it on Week is a national call to action for people in Scotland to embrace the incredible potential of re-use. The aim is to make buying a second hand kitchen table as normal as re-using a carrier bag.
