This year's Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 7th October at 11am. Like last year we will hold this year's AGM virtually over Zoom, for which we will post joining instructions closer to the date.
Falachan Cothrom is now open on Tuesdays from 18th May, 3pm to 8pm for drop-in gardening sessions. You might be a keen gardener or just looking for a bit of space to relax and maybe try something new. If you do want to get involved, we have lots of activities from planting to painting, so come join us in our lovely sheltered spot behind St Peters Church in Daliburgh. No need to book, just pop in and say hi.
We also have some allotment spaces available, if you are interested in renting one please email: alison.stockwell@cothrom.net Look forward to seeing you in the garden! Due to social distancing restrictions the Cothrom AGM will take place virtually on the 10th December at 11am. You can sign up at this link to attend the Zoom call.
If you are unable to sign up, the direct link can be found here. If you are prompted, the code for entry is 385020. On Saturday October 10th Bùth ReStore will have an open day from 10am until 1pm with a 20% sale on furniture.
We'll be operating a one way system with entry through the textile workshop and exit through the shop door. You will be asked to wear a face mask or covering when inside. We are encouraging customers to collect items they have purchased in the following week, this is in order to reduce distruption to social distancing rules. Please note that our van is not operating at the moment and customers will need to arrange collection of purchased items themselves. These reusable produce bags made out of reclaimed materials are now available at Bùth ReStore. As they're both breathable and washable they're a great alternative to single use plastic bags.
We're selling these in a set of five different sizes, ranging from large enough to fit a loaf of bread, to a size perfect for a few lemons, a set of avocados, or a couple of nectarines as in the photo. We are also selling these online on isle20.com if you can't make it in to the shop. Bùth ReStore is currently offering 20% off the original price of last year's garden furniture.
Available are two single chairs (one already oiled), two tables, and a children's bench. These unoiled pieces can also be oiled for an additional cost. Our garden furniture is handmade by learners and volunteers out of pressure treated decking wood. As our van is currently not making any deliveries it is up to the customer to collect these items upon purchase. Please phone the shop on 10878 700919 to enquire. Bùth ReStore will open with reduced hours from Wednesday 15th July. Please see guidance below.
The shop will be open from 9:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. We encourage all customers to view our online catalogue before coming in, and if there is something you'd like to view or that you're looking for we kindly ask that you phone the shop on 01878 700919 so that arrangements can be made. We are accepting payment by card over the phone as usual. Any donations of furniture will need to be dropped off, and any furniture purchases picked up as the van is currently not providing these services. Please phone the shop to arrange for this on 01878 700919. The shop will be open to one household at a time. Before entering you will be able to sanitise your hands using our hand hygiene station, but we also ask that you wear a face covering while in the shop. If there are other customers in the shop when you arrive, please wait outside or in your vehicle. |
