Cothrom,
meaning opportunity in Gaelic, is a Community and Development organisation
in South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. Training is the main focus
of our work but the organisation also includes a full time Gaelic
Nursery and a furniture restoration and recycling business.

Here at Cothrom we offer an informal, relaxed and friendly approach
to training. We deliver recognised certificated courses as well
as customised packages to suit your individual or business needs.
Our learning centre is in the middle of South Uist and we are also
flexible enough to deliver training off site, managing courses at
a time and pace that will allow you to achieve the learning outcomes
that you desire.
There
may be funding available to help pay for these courses, so contact
us for more information. Our client group knows no age limit.

a service available that can collect and deliver any items
that have either been purchased or donated at Re-store. So remember,
don't dump it, donate it!

Cothrom
Òg is an all day childcare facility based at Ormiclate in South
Uist.
We
are able to provide quality childcare through the medium of Gàidhlig
for children aged between 3 months and 12 years.
